The Phillies and the Pirates didn’t make the World Series, but Pennsylvania is still in it.
Yes, you read that right — even though the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros are duking it out for the championship, Pennsylvania is still out there on the field.
Majestic Athletic is the official provider of on-field uniforms for all 30 Major League Baseball teams, including the Dodgers and Astros, and they are made right here in Easton, Pennsylvania.
But if it wasn’t for Governor Tom Wolf, those uniforms might not have been made here and hundreds of workers would have lost their jobs.
While I wish the Phillies or the Pirates were the ones playing in the World Series, it makes me proud to know that no matter who wins, it will be Pennsylvania-made uniforms that get drenched in champagne.
If you’re proud of that too, then you should watch and share this video about how Governor Tom Wolf helped save the Majestic Athletic manufacturing plant in Easton.
